Submit loan application

Submit Loan Application & Receive Credit Only Approval

Work with your Fortis Private Bank Loan Officer to complete and submit your mortgage application. We will review your credit report and if appropriate issue a credit only approval.

Get disclosures

Get Disclosures

Within 3 business days of your completed application submission you’ll receive disclosures that outline the interest rates, fees, penalties, and insurance requirements for the loan.

Documentation request

Get Documentation Request; Start Appraisal & Title Insurance

If you decide to continue with the loan, you will receive a request for documentation that is needed to complete the loan application process. Your Fortis Private Bank Loan Office will order an appraisal and title insurance.

Get loan approval

Get Loan Approval

Upon completion of the prior steps, you loan is submitted for underwriting approval. Loan approval is not guaranteed.

After all loan conditions from underwriting have been met, your loan documents will be sent to your title company.

Your title company will compile all of the loan documents and schedule an appointment for you to sign them. When we receive the signed documents the loan is disbursed.
